Happy Hour
What is a God on the Job (GOTJ) Happy Hour?
A gathering of like-minded individuals to discuss workplace issues from a Christian perspective.
What kind of group would benefit from a GOTJ Happy Hour?
- a church group, either a Ministry (i.e. Adult's Ministry), a small group, or a Bible study group;
- a group of workers from the same company or same department within a company;
- a small business;
- a group or workers from different companies;
- a networking or professional organization;
- a convention or conference;
- a book club or social group;
- a school, sports, or civics group.
Is a GOTJ Happy Hour a one-time event or on-going meeting?
Either. On-going groups are called "Walk Partners" and are similar to Bible study groups. Study materials will be available from GOTJ, as well as other resources for Christians in the workplace.
A one-time event is a conference, convention, meeting, workshop, book-signing, or lecture, where workplace issues are discussed from a Christian perspective.
Where should a GOTJ Happy Hour be held?
- a meeting room;
- a restaurant;
- a private home;
- a church;
- a worksite (if allowed);
