If you answered yes to any of the above, you are not alone. There were times when I would have said, “YES!” to all of the above. For many years I felt alone and forsaken in the workplace.
The feeling of dread would start coming over me on Sunday afternoons. I would try to put it out of my head, but always the thought was there: “I have to get up tomorrow morning and drive to a place where I don’t want to be; once there, I will have to interface with people I don’t like or trust, and, keep my true feeling—on everything from religion to company policies—to myself.”
In other words, I had to go to work on Monday morning.
